About Our Founder

Sue Rainwater started her career in the mortgage business in 1980 as a Loan Officer with Mason McDuffie Mortgage Corporation. At one time in the mid 80's she can boast about originating and closing the most loans state wide with the California State Housing Finance Association (Bond agency) while pregnant with her second child! What followed was a 30 plus year fun filled, wild ride in the mortgage industry moving up through the management ranks with some of the best lenders - some still standing and some not quite!

She ran a $1B production team that was the sister company to the high end boutique Bay Area real estate company known as Pacific Union for over 6 years - with less than 35 loan officers! She grew successful mortgage teams with CMG/Norwest/First Cal to name a few and was the President of East Bay CAMP in 2005 - the largest chapter in the State of California at that time
